JJE helping out families on McHappy Day

As part of the McHappy Day fundraising initiative, JJE helped kids and families in our community by purchasing Big Mac meals for our staff. JJE president Joe Johnson also provided support by donating his time to work at a local McDonald’s restaurant!

McHappy Day is an annual fundraising event celebrated by McDonald’s Canada and its franchisees where $1 from every Big Macsandwich, Happy Meal and any hot McCafé beverage sold will be donated to Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities across Canada. This year marks the 21st McHappy Day, which raised more than $4 million for Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities across the country in one day last year.
