Joe Johnson Equipment Announces 2023 Charity of Choice 

Each year, the employees of Joe Johnson Equipment select a Charity of Choice to support by holding fund-raising events and activities throughout the year. JJE is thrilled to announce that the 2023 Charity of Choice is KidsSport in Canada and Good Sports in the United States.  

These nationwide charity organizations ensure that all children can participate in sports. Participation in sports allows kids to make lasting friendships and provides a sense of community.  According to KidSport, cost prohibits 1 in 3 kids from participating in organized sports, especially kids from marginalized or remote communities. Participation in sports can promote the development of children’s social skills, mental health, and physical well-being. JJE is proud to support these charities ensuring that no children are left on the sidelines.      

 About the organizations. 

KidsSport supports children who need financial assistance with sports registration fees and equipment costs. Through increasing access to quality sports programs, KidsSport strengthens communities across Canada. Good Sports drives equitable access to youth sports and physical activity, by supporting children in high-need communities to achieve their greatest potential, on the field and in life.  

Both KidsSport in Canada and Good Sports in the United States support communities in each area where a JJE branch is located.

Joe Johnson Equipment annonce l’organisme de bienfaisance de choix 2023

Chaque année, les employés de Joe Johnson Equipment choisissent un organisme de bienfaisance de choix à soutenir en organisant des événements et des activités de collecte de fonds tout au long de l’année. JJE est ravi d’annoncer que l’organisme de bienfaisance de choix 2023 est KidsSport au Canada et Good Sports aux États-Unis.

Ces organisations caritatives nationales veillent à ce que tous les enfants puissent participer à des sports. La participation à des sports permet aux enfants de nouer des amitiés durables et procure un sentiment de communauté.  Selon KidSport, le coût interdit à 1 enfant sur 3 de participer à des sports organisés, en particulier les enfants de communautés marginalisées ou éloignées. La participation à des sports peut favoriser le développement des habiletés sociales, de la santé mentale et du bien-être physique des enfants. JJE est fière de soutenir ces organismes de bienfaisance en veillant à ce qu’aucun enfant ne soit laissé sur la touche.

KidsSport soutient les enfants qui ont besoin d’une aide financière avec les frais d’inscription sportive et les coûts d’équipement. Good Sports favorise un accès équitable aux sports et à l’activité physique des jeunes, en aidant les enfants des communautés dans des besoins élevés à réaliser leur plus grand potentiel, sur le terrain et dans la vie.
